What is an electrical appliance?
If the product uses electrical energy (regardless of form), it is considered an electrical device. Look for the crossed-out trash can symbol. This indicates that it is really an electrical device. You will find the following symbol either on the packaging, on the product or in the instructions for use.
What do I have to consider when returning electrical appliances for disposal?
Electrical and electronic devices marked with the following symbol (crossed-out wheelie bin) must not be disposed of with household waste.
Before handing in an old device, please note the following points:
Remove any personal information left on the device to protect it
Disconnect the old device from the power and remove any remaining dirt
Which old devices can I return and how does it work?
Before you scrap or dispose of an old device, please consider whether someone can continue to use it. This helps people and nature.
In principle, the manufacturer aquacontrol 102 takes back old devices. Please ensure that there is sufficient franking. The manufacturer will not accept mail items that do not have sufficient postage. Alternatively, you can hand in these old devices at any building depot. Please contact your waste disposal company to find out whether costs are charged.
